Thumbs up All Goood

Well I'm diggin the Corolla, and it's not just because it's the only car I have. I have a 1993 LE. It's not super powerful, too big or small, and it's economical, reliable, and low maintenance! I'm a car enthusiast, and althought I don't race my car in straight lines, I enjoy taking it for some mountainous driving. In norcal, I've taken it through Mt. Hamilton, Alpine Drive, Calaveras Road, Skyline Blvd, among other roads, and in socal it's been through 243, 74, 76, Mt. Palomar, and 79. Yeah, the steering wheel's loose and the stock tires aren't very grippy, but it just goes to show that the Corolla is a car that can take a heavy beating and still go at 125k+.

But damn I wish I had an Evo or STi

corolla.. hmm.. i'm biased..

i'd have to say.. corolla = a great quality in a car.. unique enough to work on without the fear of being just another civic on the road..

Not really a Toyota fan....

But I do like (available in N. America):

- 85-87 Corolla GTS HB (AE 86, Need to explain more?)
- 90-92 Celica All-trac (Turbo AWD, 200 hp, bulletproof engine)

Lan, we have the same taste in Toyotas. Working on getting my hands on one of the former in the near future. With the **** I'm going through right now I could use a second car and the AE86 is a prime candidate.

I found one cheap, well maintain...current owner's a knowledge man in his 50's. He kept everything stock except some new parts for the worn interior....Rebuilt engine, new brakes and othe stuffs...I met him in a Barnes & Noble parking lot when I was "admiring" (drooling) his car...He's very cool....He's asking for a reasonable price

Too bad I have a house to buy that really cut all the other "fun" stuff

IMO that's a very poor reason to hate toyota.. Toyota didn't screw you, the DEALER screwed you.. The cars are good.. the dealers suck pretty much..

specially in S FL

corolla's are amazing..my dad had a 1992 corrolla and it held up VERY well..it had about 275,000 miles on it with no major repairs, just the regular maintenance. the car still ran but was REALLY loud, i believe it had a crack in the cylinder but that car really was amazing.
