I got tired of waiting for the EVO X so I bought a ??
good thing those things depreciate a lot or else you would have been ripped off. i think that gen are the slowest vipers. mid 12s for a 10 cyl car that costs 60K plus new?? now they are 80K new, but faster than mid 12s. matter of preference i guess, the color looks good, that thing would look killer with some wheels, my vote is gloss black with polished lip or straight gloss black.
Why does it matter if it has 10 cylinders or 30 cylinders?
Fast is fast and a Viper is definately fast. What other cars for $60k were running mid-low 12s in 1997?
You made a good choice. A Viper is sex on wheels. In comparison, an EVO is.......holding hands on wheels.

Actually, Vipers have great resale value.

vipers kick ***, my ***** aren't big enough yet to buy one so i'll stock with the evo.
and I need a house first
Are you kidding me I loved my evo, but no contest stock for stock not even close. This thing is a beast. I dont think Ill do much to it there is really no need to drive 195mph. I am hoping to buy another evo someday, because I do love them. But this viper is retarded fast for a stock car. I am going to track it soon, but Ill guess mid 12's maybe low 12's from what Ive read.
Who knows
Who knows
Thanks for all the positive comments, Im pretty happy. Dont get me wrong I love the evos they are great cars, but you can ask gmetal (my brother in law) on this forum the difference between his Evo MR and the viper.
If you have never been in a viper they dont even start until about 110MPH. I would have got a newer one but I cant afford one, after all Im only 26.
I know there are people on this site who think their evos are invincible, but there is always somthing faster. Just like there are faster cars than my viper. But seeing that I have owned both maybe I have a little more insight. Worst case scenario the Evo X kicks *** and I have to go buy one.
