Very nice truck. Don't feel bad about the mileage, I have a 97 4X4 with the 360 and I am lucky if I get 12m.p.g. I would rather have yours and give up a few m.p.g.

Depending on the driver, note the keyword driver. They can run a high 12 (rare) to a mid 13 second 1/4 at about 104 - 106 depending on track, temp and DA.

Most drivers are in the 13's because they dont have slicks to cover the massive rear disc's so they run on the stock 22 inch rubber and the 2-3 shift with stock hurst shifter can be tough to do.

I happened to be driving my buddies one day and got paired up with an STI. It was dead even. This was on a track btw.

Yeah right. Bolt ons won't take a Lightning into 10's, no way. Are you telling us that an average bolt on 450-550whp Lightning with nasty traction issues and 5000+ lbs. runs faster than let's say a 3200lb. awd Evo with similar power?

I was thinking...why didn't you get the Jeep SRT8 instead? AWD, Brembos...and room for 5.
