Help finding a RWD car

Can anyone suggest a good RWD car thats not too expensive and would be good for a kind of first car deal. Down the road i would like to race it so keep that in mind! imput please

What is "not to expensive" to you?

If you're talking $6-8k it'll really slim down the list.

S2000s and good condition RX7s/300ZX TTs are around $20k. Around here the ae86 isn't a good choice because you aren't getting much car for the money (demand is high and a total POS sales for $5k+).

For 12K I would say either the 180 SX or S14 Silvia. Some E36 M3 are going for that price as well. Personally I would go with the E36 M3, pretty fast from the box and handles really well.

well personally I would probably be racing on a track, straight aways, and circuit. Although I would like to learn drifting as well.

miata... you can buy an older one for 2k-4k and they can be very fast for cheap
