I had RSX and I would get 06 SI since I think it looks better inside and out. The engine is the same so go with looks

The RSX is nicer, the SI is faster. Take your pick.

New Si hands down. Had one out handling most of the local Evo guys in our last Mtn run up in Dahelonga. Better yet he got held up due to a d*ck cop and couldnt get a hold of us, so he used his Navi to get him back home.

lol He was also driving like a maniac and crossing the double yellows... But seriously the new Si is supposed to be the best handling FWD car since the DC2 Integra. Also if your thinking of the new Si or RSX look at the Mazdaspeed 3. Its able to run low 13's stock and its supposed to handle pretty well.

I had a RSX, insurance was higher on it than the evo. 400 a year more.

I test drove a new Si a few weeks ago and was not impressed in the least. Personally I hate the digital gauges, and the shifter feels cheap as with the rest of the interior. The seats look cool, but are really light material that felt like it would snag and wear thin quickly. I had a 99 Si a while back, and it wasnt as fast as the new one, but it was alot more fun to drive. IMO. I was looking at an 06 RSX also, and I never got to drive it, but to me it looked alot nicer. As far as Evo insurance, when I went from the 99 Si to the evo, I got a refund check for 9 bucks for the 6 months. I think progressive has the Evo listed as just a regular Lancer or something. Insurance is the only thing thats cheap about it.
