Very nice looking GSXR1000.
I got the same bike just different color scheme.
Mine's blue and white and set up for track days.
Looking at the first pic, I was wondering why it looked so strange.
But realized it was lowered and has an extended swingarm.
Awesome work on that swingarm btw.
'05 and '06 GSXR1000, best MC Suzuki has ever produced imo.

Yeah the bike was lowered and extended slightly.
Your right the K5/K6 are awesome production bikes.
I like the blue and white color scheme.
Would like to see some pictures of your bike and track set-up.
In a few months I'm going to change my set-up and start going to the track also.
Take it easy

Thanks, I love the bike. It is so light and flickable. I have a couple mods left to do and then I'm done for the season (Dark Smoke Puig windscreen, Black Pazzo levers, and black seat cowl. I need to get some leathers and hit a track day w/ this thing

Wow, very cool. I rode for a lot of years, but I sold my last bike about 2 years ago. It was a '93 Ducati 888 S.P.O. Superbike. Had a Stage I chip, Termignoni stainless pipes, Feracci air box, lots of carbon fiber parts & Michelin Hi-Sport Race 3's on it. I miss her sometimes...

I really should own a sport bike. I live in the perfect place for it. We have a bunch of curvy roads and a new race track, I could burn a lot of gas through one

Thos dual sport style bikes are way fun for sure. We have a couple 650 BMW dual sports bikes for sale at my work. I 'steal' them from time to time and go tear it up down town.

I currently have an Aprilia RSVR Factory and a little Ducati Monster 620 for when I want to thrash a bike around on the street and not get thrown in jail. Ok, it's really for the wife. The RSVR Factory is fantastic. Akrapovic pipes, PCIII, Acculign rearsets, Ohlins front and rear, forged OZ rims, Brembo radial brakes, HID's, Gilles vario-bars and risers, lotsa sliders, CRG levers, anodized dzus fastener kit, etc....
