'08 Corvette....488rwhp UNTUNED....cam only!!!!

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1753058

Here it is. This is an 2008 C6 with an LG G7X-4 cam with LG Pro Long Tube Headers, K&N Air Charger, and stock performance muffler but with No tune. Computer tune to come this week.

484rwhp 440 rwtq

We did another pull after the engine was allowed to cool off and hit 488rwhp. I don't have that graph scanned in yet but I will get it up later.

This indicates that there is some heat related timing control issues just like the first dyno pulls of the original C6 Z06 before a tune.

At any rate, it looks like an easy 500 rwhp or there about with just the tune. And we are working on having a set of ported heads ready soon to install to get those numbers also.
3179 lbs and 500rwhp with just a cam and headers.

I want to see what this beast will do with the ported heads.

Yep (436hp).

It made 387rwhp stock, so a cam and headers added over 100rwhp.

That's a big cam though. I remember when G5x4 heads and cam C5 packages were as big as you could get trapping 130mph NA in them was awesome to see.

It's very interesting how small the world is. My dad is very good friends with Lou. They used to do racing stuff together in upstate NY back in the day.

LG Motorsports does great stuff.

i'm pretty sure that's the decision i just made too. btw, i priced them on edmunds and dealer cost on a coupe w/the z51 package, perfomance rear axle and not many other options was just over $43k. i thought that was a deal. now to find one for less than sticker will be the trick.
