This reminds me of an old Mad magazine I read ... one of the editorial cartoons featured a Ferrari SUV. One of the two guys looking at it said "I guess it was bound to happen."

/agree on the ugly comments. Porsche has the Cayenne ... let the people who need 4 doors and a Porsche stick with that. They should focus on improving the cars they already have on the market rather than trying to break in to a new one.

 

come now, rich rich old guys have friends too, and they want to drive them around in expensive excessively overpowered sedans!

wait... the second part sounds familiar.. well maybe not the expensive part

 

With this mentality, Porsche would have never made the Carrera GT, Boxster, Cayman, or Cayenne.... and would have probably gone out of business years ago.


Not a big fan of the car in its current guise, but it'll sell well and enable Porsche to keep making money-losers like the GT3.
