Vortex Generators on Subarus!?!?!?
I found this pic and it made me do a double take. A Vortex generator on a Subaru, I never thought I'd see the day. That would be like an Evo with a big hood scoop. I guess immitation is a form of flattery but the VG is so uniquely EVO, I never thought.... lol, It doesn't belong there, kind of like angel eyes on a civic...
Interesting observation. I don't know how you inferred that anyone who posted on this topic was upset about it. I'm not upset about it, in fact it's just something I find mildly amusing and strange.

I dont believe this to be true. Depending on the angle at which the rear window slopes down, the vortex generators will still be able to accomplish thier inherent function of forcing the creation of turbulent vorticies and promoting boundary layer re-attachment along the slope of the window. How the boundary layer detaches from that point and then flows over the wing i can not say. But regardless of having a wing downstream, the BL reattachment will still occur and thus the slight areodymanic advantage of another few inches of laminar flow remain.

In regards to me saying the original poster sounded upset, sorry if I read into your post. It seemed by you saying the VG is unique to the Evo I thought you were complaining.
