I'd wait until the 135i comes out. Now that'll be a fun car.

IMO g37 looks better and is cheaper by 8 grand

:motortrend:
"At the end of a couple enervating loops in both cars, we're surprised by three things: the fact that neither car could run away from the other, that neither demonstrates a clear edge in handling, and-yikes!-the BMW's oil temperature is near the peg at 280 F-40 degrees shy of system shutdown." the reason for this being only certain models have oil coolers

1st Place: 2008 Infiniti G37S
More muscle and technology deliver BMW brilliance on a budget.

2nd Place: 2007 BMW 335i
Still a sublime bucks-up dance partner, but can she keep her cool?

335 owns g37??

That is why I'd get the 135i it'll be at least 5-7K cheaper than a 335i and also be very light and nimble with a turbo charged engine that the 335i has.

MotorTrend didn't like it because the first batch of 335s did not come with an oil cooler standard. I think they all do now. It wont overheat.

I personally would not get a G37. Its got a bit more power than a G35, but also weighs a couple of hundred pounds more.

There are tons of reviews that pit the 3 series against the G, and the 3 series comes out on top most of the time. One car magazine even said they would pick a 328 over a G37 because of BMWs amazing car dynamics.

But if you're on a budget(cant afford a 335), and want more luxury than an Evo, then go check out the G37. Its got good bang for the buck, and would make a decent daily.

i would get the g37. im sure that the aftermarket will supply the force induction if you want to go that route. IMO infinity has better quality.

The G37 is undeniably a heck of a car, but within that group and price range you can't ignore the BMW335i which actually tops the G37 up in every category.

Please, drive both. If you come to Tucson you can drive mine for a decent test drive.

I like exterior/interior design of new G37 coupe better than new BMW 3 series.
If money is no issue, I would pick 335i over G37 though.
335i > G37 > 328i
