Lancerdj,
Obataining a low 13 sec with just a CAI is in fact more difficult that what it sounds. Having a FWD and limited boost in first gear it will be hard to shave a few tenth of a second just with a CAI alone. Not trying to be a hater but I ma tryingh to keep it real.
I like the car regardless, I think it compites directly with other cars like the WRX.

sorry, you are completely right carlos...mid to high 13 sec w/ jus an intake is more like it.
here is high 13 sec just stock:

you are absolutely right about the traction issue. there is currently a 350 hp ms3 that recently ran only low 13's due to traction issues with stock tires and such. when he gets slicks he will be in 12's.

The Forge BPV is being installed because the plastic POS bpv is already an issue. Something as important as that should have a metal housing not a plastic one.Originally Posted by lancerj
streetunit.com and cp-e are your friends. your forge bpv is going to sound good, but its really an unecessary mod at this point until you get more power.

Man that black one looks nice. These are growing on me more and more. I really wanted to get awd in my next car though. I did'nt realize these things can hang with stock sti's and evo's from a roll and with a few mods they can hit around 5.7 to 60 (not too bad for fwd). They're not priced bad, but with 1-2g's in mods they're approaching wrx and new ralliart? territory...

I'm going with a WRX.
Did you negotiate a price? Buying a car is not a subscription -- stay away from talking payments and get a good OTD price.Originally Posted by wiretap

Very nice car! I got to ride in one when i was getting my car tuned in the shops project car. It was completely stock, but very quick and comfortable.

I do like the interior. The seats are quite comfortable. And yes, I love playing with the buttons. Originally Posted by hmsevo9mr

Thanks. That is why I bought it. It was either this or a 08 WRX, and the new WRX is just ugly to me.Originally Posted by CGK
Nice car. Best bang for the buck, for sure.
Thanks for the complements.

....guys, those of you who know how to torrent, download this link of a recent episode of best motoring and watch the new ms3 vs the newest wrx compete in a face off. notice the ms3 lap time at the end is the fastest when compared to all the other imprezas. the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are a little lower than usual also because these guys arent driving the car properly. i would say the ms3 is in direct competition with the new wrx and ralliart.
