Just picked up a 74 Plymouth
Hey guys just thought Id share my new purchase with the EvoM community. Its a 1974 Plymouth Valiant. Shes all original with 74k on the odometer. Has a 318 with alittle work done (cam, intake manifold, 4 barrel carb, 440 air cleaner, exhaust). It was a good deal and I couldnt pass it up. Color is ehh, but what can you do? What a different feel drivin this thing! I dont have many plans for it, just some headers and heads in the spring. She moves pretty good with what its got now, but theres always room for improvement
Let me know what you guys think.

Wow no love at all lol yeah its not exactly the sportiest car they used to make, but it moves just fine, trust me. Like I said Im not a big fan of the color myself, but it is what it is. As for it being a 2 dr, cmon now you guys drive Evos, wheres the love for the sedan? haha I like it though, ive always been a fan of the odder cars and not just the cudas and camaros and mustangs and stuff. Its something different. It just needs a bit more motor work and some decent wheels/tires and I'll be happy with it. Besides wont it be even worse when someone loses to a brown 4 dr old man car?

I wish. People are asking insane amounts of money for the older cars these days. The Valiant is just fine by me. Roadrunners and Fury's and stuff are too big for my liking. This ones fairly small by comparison as its an A-Body. You'd think the thing is heavy as a tank with metal everywhere (including about the top 1/3 of the door interiors and a variety of other places you'd never think they would have made stuff out of metal) but guess again, the car's weight = 3,035 lbs. So its small, pretty damn light and you can get some real decent power out of the 318 on the cheap.
