I have a buddy with a 700+ hp 911TT that does a lot of Porsche race events around TX. I'll have to ask if he recognizes that car.

It looks factory with a carbon plate to replace the stock gauges. The display is obviously not stock.

This is quite the sexy Porsche. I'd drive it ...

 

I'd surmise those are some components out of a 911 RSR.

Wouldn't the weight and size of those turbo's compromise handling and spool-up?

Nevertheless.....absolutley sick! I would go nuts if I pulled up behind him on the street.

 

It's actually a heavily-modified 993 C2 and not a turbo. The guy posts on Rennlist but he hasn't given updates about the car's actual power numbers. He did say it weighs 2720 lbs with a full tank of gas, so it's pretty light too.

It took him about 2 years to put that car together, and it was intended to be mainly a track car.
