What do you mean?, No, those are my real times,no corrections are made. If I was to use the correction /altitude factor it would be like 12.3@114-115mph.

the timeslips are here: http://evoixgrl.blogspot.com/

I dont know of anyone thats ever posted corrected 1/4 mile times other than the magazines. If Carlos says it was done then he did it. The guy is a no B/S type of dude that backs up his runs with slips and photos. Great job Carlos, three weeks and Ill be back in AZ. Was this with the DP or still on computer only? Thats a big improvement over your last runs at SIR.

Anywhere from 13.2 (the best) to 13.6(the worst), traps of 102(the worst) 106mph (the best), this has been tested by just about every car magazine in the market..

I ran a 13.6@102 stock with 440 miles on the odometer on Tucson(3100ft).

this is why i loved this car from day one. i always figured that bmw would leave a hell of alot of potential locked away waiting to be released. can't wait to see the 135i or possibly get one in a few years

Those trap's r equivalant to an evo that runs low 12's and spent $1,000 on mods.

BS I've spent less than $500 on power mods and I was a fender away from a roll vs a Vlll that trapped 114.

Driver was reaalllll confident he could beat me and was surprised that I was the first Evo he ever ran that he didnt punk. I was like wow....unreal. Don't know if he was Vishnu'd or not. I have never ran my car at the track either. 135i is on alot of peoples 'to do lists' next year
hehe...the typical god-complex from majority of 335 owners, excluding my best friend Carlos. I already had two encounters at the autobahn with two 335s (both stock) and they both put a hell of a fight (75 to 160 mph) but I beat them both and by a nice margin. I was surprised since 335s are beasts from a roll and my Evo is not pushing 300whp anymore...more likely 280 ever since I removed the DP and the 3" exhaust. One of the drivers couldn't stop giving me very enthusiastic thumbs up as I'm sure it was the fist time someone beat him. He definitely would've beat a stock Evo pretty bad though.

Congrats on your times Carlos. BTW, a sea-level 11-sec @ 116mph Evo is not a mid 12 @ 110 mph car at SIR Tucson. C,mon man, its just 3,100ft, not 8,000

I'm confused, with all those mods and methanol you were only trapping 110mph in the 1/4 mile? I know you are at 3100ft, but your EVO should have been faster than that. I am just saying that your mods and methanol is atleast a 350-360whp 03-04 EVO VIII, even at 3100ft you should be trapping higher than 110mph. You do the math, your 335i is about 340-350whp and 3500Lbs or more, and your VIII was around the same power or more and probably weighed 250Lbs or less. I mean 108-110 trap speeds is like a 300whp (dynojet) EVO, what happend to the power on your EVO. Anyhow great job with the 335i, seems like she has been a great car for you.

Couldn't have said it better myself, I think Carlos old EVO was suffering a boost leak or something.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but wasn't your wife's IX with basic bolt ons and tune running nearly 112mph traps at that same track. Maybe you should ask your self why your full bolt on VIII with methanol was nearly 2mph slower than a basic bolt on IX. I am in no way trying to discredit your achievement with your 335i, you have one of the fastest ones with your mods in the States and you should be proud of that. But it kind of irritates me that you keep comparing your 335i which is pretty strong one (most 335i w/ 1.47 chip aren't trapping 110.XXX mph) to your VIII which was obviously down on power. You are misleading people.
