VW's are boring cars in my opinion

and a DSM is /lol talk about one of the worst daily drivers in history , owned one!
I sell Hondas. If you can find an Accord for a good price privately jump on it. You will spend far less on overall cost of ownership and depreciation than any other make or model. Best use of your money

Miata. Seriously, I use mine everyday, winter and all. If you just commute it gets excellent mileage and is fun to drive.

How about a '02 SVT Focus?? They are really fun to drive. The Miata was a good recommendation too, along with a 1.8T VW.

Yea, truth be told this was what I was planning on doing. Keeping the civic and getting a GSR motor, was even considering getting a b18c5 for ****s and giggles.

However, the interior noise in the civic is unbearable. I even dynamatted the entire car, and it still kills me - ashame because I love the car too.

As far as the integras are concerned, they are the same pretty much as any 92-00 civic, except they have a bigger motor and weigh alot more. If I was going to go integra i'd get a civic shell and drop a motor in it.

Miata i would think would be uncomfortable and loud no?

I was looking at accord / predule but i don't know enough about them. Accord always struck me as more of a family car - and same problem as the integra, just a heavier civic.

How about a used bike like a gxr or cbr? Friend was selling a 99 gxr stretched and dropped for 7k. You could kinda talk on the phone.

Civics are supposed to be noisy! That's how you know they're fast!

integra might be a little heavier then a civic but they do handle ALOT better then a civic. also my friend got a 2004 TL with 14k miles for 9K cause it needed a motor we so happened to work at acura so we got a brand new block for $900 swapped the heads slapped it in and its perfect i was jelouse anyway if your mechanicly inclined you can get a fast car for 9k or a nice car.

just dont be like me.. spend 6k on my 96 240 then spend 10k in suspension then spend 4k in body work then spend 12k on the motor and then decide to DD a STi.... lol

Look nice, decently fast and it's not another Honda. Plus its RWD.

You can find them on zilvia freshalloy and 240 forums..
