something you have consider about the veyron's looks is that it was designed for aerodynamics. per jeremy clarkson's research...

when they dropped that 1100hp dual audiV8 engine with 4 turbos into the veyron, it was 30km short of its goal. and for every km they wanted, that would be an extra 8hp. Do the math=thats 240 extra hp they would need. Already packing 4 turbos, not much room to work with. So they played with the aerodynamics of the car enough to the point they reached their goal.

That is fantastic aerodynamic engineering imo...unlike the evo's wing which actually BENDS at speeds beyond 180mph

 

1001* hp heh....and saying they couldnt reach 252mph with 16 cylinders and 4 turbo's is stupid...

The Koenigsegg ccx reaches 250 with an 8 cylinder and twin superchargers and its 10x better looking than the veyron..

 

still looks drivable... i'd take it lol

Bugatti: interior of a mercedes, way heavier, being able to launch a 1001bhp AWD vehicle without shattering the tranny, and at 253mph..in the words of mr. clarkson, the car is very solid and comfortable.

CCX: imo: ugly as hell. the car is definetely lighter, i look at this as more of a kit-car in production than a bugatti
