Are you kidding me... diesel.... and not high technology, just "a smorgasbord of traps, filters and catalytic converters," I'm sure those help increase the efficency of the engine. Boo!

Whats wrong with deisel? IDK about you but I like torque.

It wasn't so much the diesel as it was all the restrictors on it. Also, does anyone know if it being diesel would make it harder to mod?

I doubt it would be. Look at the power the truck guys are getting out of the TDIs. Should be the same concept.
