Mitsubishi Tarmac Spyder
I was at the detroit auto show, I saw it. Pretty cool, it was the Star of the Mitsubishi area. It looks too much like a chicks car, and with 315 hp i would be scared to see some teenage girl driving that around trying to show off! Looks like it would appeal to the crowd of RSX or celica.

Ya that car is pretty fugly.. but that engine is pretty!! That should've been the engine that would be put in the Evo's with all the gizmo's... it will never go in production.. it was just a concept-fun-type of car... as many people have said..
The Tarmac Spyder is a heavily modified version of the Evo VIII. The exterior was completely changed and modified as one can see from the pic. Mechanics wise, the Spyder remains relatively unchanged from the Evo VIII. This car has no chance of ever seeing production however...

And stew....I hope that guy did that to his evo for function, because it isn't doing anything for the looks IMO.

Sort of a rehash overall. The CZ3 is more than likely the most viable candidate to replace the Evo (ala the 206 route).
