that's how the nascar guys are doing their cars now. i have a friend with a wrap on his f-150 that's held up pretty well for the last three years, especially considering that we're in the northeast with crappy winters and salt on the roads. he drives the thing through the car wash regularly and it still looks great. i don't know anything about cost however since his truck came like that and he is the second owner.
