It was mostly Jeremy Clarkson that called americans inbred, lazy fat people. This looks like it will be a whole new cast. Anyone that watched top gear on discovery channel only, don't know that they edited out all his US bashing on the tv show. I'm with you though, if everyone saw the UK version of the tv show, their opinion would change of him.

Thats great... Well not all of the American People are inbred. The majority are lazy and fat, but don't worry that will change soon since the economy is doing so well. Man I can't wait for him to come over. I really hope he bashes the Amercans really bad.

"American-ized" Top Gear without Clarkson, Hammond and May? Garbage.

^^^^ thats what im saying.....they make the show....i love jeremy and agree w/ pretty much everything he says about most americans and our american cars.....but w/o the trio and the lack of cars we recive in the US that the britts get....plus a man only show her, most woman could give 2 ****s about cars. cant rember where i saw the poll at but, only like 17% of woman really car about cars....so i dont think this show is going to fly that well in america.

Its one of those things, that get ****ed up when they make it to the states...IMHO the only top gear will be the one on BBC.

Jeremy, Hamster, and the Slowest Man Alive make that show... And their British accent and humor make it even better.

It just won't be the same if someone reviews a car and says the "trunk" instead of the "boot"

There's been other attempts at "top gear-ish" shows. They always fail. I'd much rather watch an hour of them blowing up caravans and screwing around in exotics then anything serious!

This re-make's going to blow. The show is the cast. Clarkson, Hamster, and Nancy boy are what make it work.
