Corvette ZR-1 sold on Barrett-Jackson.
For anyone that wants to see it....here is the video: http://www.corvetteblogger.com/index...-for-1-Million
He only paid 100K (sticker price) for the Car the other 900K went to charity and he can right it off on his taxes as such. Not a bad deal seeing as anyone who buys one at a dealer will have to pay an ADM on one and thats not deductable and could even be added to cause the sales tax to be higher depending on your state.
Hey, for a person that can afford to pay that much for a car isn't too worried about getting his money back. Just my 2 cents!
.
Did anypne do the fantasy bidding?
Closest I came all weekend was $2k off, and that was on the 911 Gretsky turbo.
the other ones I was like way over or way way under by like 50%.
Very hard to tell what these cars go for.
But I seen a few in the 20k-30k area that would have been fun.
Esp that '69 gto that went for $40k
