but 1000... thats still an accomplishment. people have acheived this with stock engines, but very few. and a fully built engine, still needs a huge turbo and a good tune to break this mark.

but yes there are supra's 1000hp, 1100, 1200, 1300. but past that is very few and far between.
i was kidding, but its not a huge acomplishment like it is for evos imo

Supra are nice cars but i dont like them for the simple fact that anything a supra can do another car can do it better for a quarter of the money you spent on the supra to do it

I agree, parts are expensive. It all comes down to what you like and how much you can afford. On another note a GT42 turbo kit for an Evo cost about 7K and the GT55 kit for the Supra cost me about $500 more than that.So there's really not much of a diference in price for a BIG T4 kit and a HUGE T6 kit.But when it comes down to reliability the Supra takes it hands down for example the stock 6sp Supra tranny could take up to 1600hp on it,How about the Evo tranny? This is my 3rd Supra and also I had an Evo so I'm talking for experience.

Now... w/ all the power you have, how does it drive on the street?
I mean it's fun to take it to the track and everything but if you can't drive it on the street. it's just pointless really. (imo).
I didn't know that Supras are really reliable?, I mean you live in NJ, Why don't you go for an AWD beast?, like Skyline and such?
How are Skylines, if you are comparing both cars?

I drive my car on the street with no problems what so ever also to the track. The car handles like any other car on the street unless you step on it,that's when all hell brakes loose in the power level.I had an Evo,but it wasn't my cup of tea.I do like the older skyline the one before the 2008(the new one hasn't really grown on me yet tho It has to be a hell of a machine)As far as comparing I really can't quote on it since I have never driven or ever been on a Skyline, but it has to be a beast of a car.

Very very nice. Congrats on the build. 1krwhp is still an accomplishment, even on a supra.
