Mercedes AMG C63
To eliminate the effects of weather on performance, we employ proprietary empirical correction factors to adjust all results to dry air at 14.7 psi and 60 degrees Fahrenheit using PsyCalc 98 software (www.linric.com) to crunch the weather data. Since cars run best in cold dense air, our correction tends to add time to results generated in low-temperature, high-pressure conditions and subtract time from hot-weather, low-pressure tests. To cancel the effects of the wind, all acceleration tests are run in both directions; the best runs in each direction are then averaged.
We've gotten a couple at my dealership. They're pretty cool cars, the new transmission is real sporty for mercedes. They're very smooth and fast, exhaust sounds great. You can get 'em for around 60k. I've raced an ML63, lol, which is a really fast SUV with the more power version of the 6.2L. 0-60 in 4.5 and 13.0 in 1/4, but the C63 is a good bang for the buck IMO. A little tune and some bolt ons and you should be some where near 500whp.
I test drove one a couple of months back and freaking loved the sound of it. I didn't think the ride was smooth though, especially compared to the C300 my girlfriend has while the dealer works on her C230. The ride honestly felt about as rough as my Evo which has swift springs on it. Awesome car though IMO...I have seriously considered possibly purchasing this car in the near future if my finances permit.
