The EVO alternative... what would YOU own instead?

If you could not own your EVO for whatever reason (insurance was too high, it caused you too much trouble, or you where just over EVOing...) What would you buy? Post a picture

The rules:

It is drivable in ALL 4 seasons just like the EVO... that is all.

and WHY you would be satisfied by this alternative...

I don't have an EVO but I here is what I picked... 2006 330i... 6spd...

I chose that because it may be german but it's not a highway shoulder trophy that comes with a free tow truck like Audi... The best handling RWD car that doesn't kick your ***... still has some decent ponies, looks nice... just does a LOT of things well. Almost zero compromise and you can drive it in the snow without flying off a cliff...

There isn't much in the Evo's price range that can compete except for the Sti. Little higher and I would take the awd 335 or an Audi RS4. Saw an RS4 in person a little while ago and it was beautiful.

It doesn't have to compete with the EVO... just something you would buy instead of the EVO.

Hell it could be a Volkswagen Touareg...

it may be the car you get because the wife made you sell the EVO or something...

It doesn't have to be as fast, or as potent for the dollar...

I think if I did not have an EVO until now I would wait for the GT-R. I know it's twice as much but that is the dream. Maybe in 2012

Here's what I got. Over EVOing would be my best excuse... I was also getting really really really tired of driving around a rally car with all its rattles, creaks, whines, and failing components... It was time for a change for the better. And I was modding way way too much

If you can't answer why I'm satisfied by the alternative, go drive one

BMW 135I or STI. On a lower budget a 2G GSX.
