Tuning for nissa sentra spec v?

Does anybody know if their are there any tuning programs for the nissan sentra ser spec v. A friend of mine just turboed his spec v and is just planning to tune with an AFC. Just trying to point him in the right direction, since he is about ready to rip the turbo off since there car will not run right.

Have him hit up B15sentra.net

Tons of information there for tuning. I come from 10 years of SR20 tuning, modding etc. Last I heard was the the Spec V ECU was not yet cracked. I know most of the Spec V guys were going stand-alone ala AEM.

Your best bet is to hit up Unlucky, Travis Burrell (Spec V aka B15 guru) on that forum I mentioned above. He owns Forced Induction Racing out of Houma, LA. He's one of the if not the ONLY person that knows the B15's like the back of his hand blind-folded.

Cheers-
E

I turboed my bests friends specv a while ago (1st turbo specv in florida, 2nd in the nation) & the AFC works just fine on those cars. & from what my buddy tells me some people have even gotten the new AFC to control the variable intake cam.

but if you want ignition control also I know turbonetics uses a unichip piggyback. I dont think the emanage will work right out of the box (dont quote me on the ultimate) but I see no reason a build it yourself system like the megasquirt wouldn't work or be sufficient.

but in short there is nothing wrong with the S-AFCII or NEO for tuning. you may want to use map sensor voltage to switch between high & low maps instead of Throttle Position though. also the knock sensor are unusually sensative & may need to be relocated.
