Keep your eyes open for the new celica replacement. I hear it'll be STI powertrain (300hp turbo 4 AWD) on a lightweight coupe.

 

I heard about this...sounds like its gonna be an awesome car.

 

My girl wants that car Its either that or the new Camry. Right now she drives the corolla S. That car looks okay. with the turbo it should be a little quicker than other corollas.

 

Too bad Honda didn't make an Awd too i would of buy in a heart beat too!

Toyota has a law that makes them incapable of building a decent turbo car since they canned the Supra and the old Celica GT-4 rally car

Whats wrong with Toyota and TRD? THey have been in the Rally Racing for EVER... And what is to be said about the Supra... come on that car is still Setting records on HP... and they are still pulling over 30k for used cars...and they are over 10 years old...

mount sidedown, its just covered on the ends more. more power to TRD.

 

Why reinvent the wheel. Our intercooler flows pretty well.

The hp recoprds are own their own displacement category. If you comprae the hp/liter with many other manufacturers like Audi,Porsche,Mitsubishi,BMW and on and on you would realize the records are only set by vry few individuals that poored a lot of money on them.

A Supra could perhaps do 1400-1500hp to the wheels but they are heavily modded and the numbers not that impressive considering a 2.0liter Evo can make nearly 1100whp with 1/3 less of the displacement and to all 4 wheels.

As per the 30k for a used 10 year old Spra, wel, there will be someone stupiod enough to pay that money but it certainly not worth that much. People gave that car the status that doesn't deserve. I take a VR4 of th same year for one third of the price.
