MIVEC in 04 Eclipse?

MIVEC in 04 Eclipse?
when did mitsu develop mivec and do they put it in every model?..i also have an 04 spyder..the dealer (said) it was mivec, but on the engine top there is no "mivec" like on my RA..are the older eclipses mivec? like form '95 to present?

As you can see MIVEC was first introduced in the 92's!!!!
I think it depends on the country you buy your car, as the Stealership decides what version of Engines and Cars come to your country...
As an example the Ralliart version comes with the 4G69, 4G63 (N/A) and another 2.0 Tiptronic engine (here in Guatemala)... and on these 3 engines, only the 4G69 comes MIVEC...
As you can see MIVEC was first introduced in the 92's!!!!
