Value of R32 Skyline GT-R

I'm in love with the BNR32 GT-R, and in 2014 they'll be 25 years old (for the '89 models). I should be able to afford one then, also. I'm seriously looking into getting one (yeah, yeah, that's 6 years off, so sue me).

Do you think there will be a jump in price for these as they cross the 25 year mark, because we'll be able to drive them on the street pretty easily? I figure that for normal cars, 25 - 30 years old is basically the lowest point of a car's value. Can you think of any '78-'83 cars that are worth anything? (I know that was the Malaise years, but still).

So basically, do you think it'll be worth buying in 2011-2013 and letting it sit for a few years because you think there will be a hike in value, or do you think it won't matter and 2014 is fine?

Corolla GT-s in MINT condition can still fetch a good price and thats at 25 or almost 25 years, but were talking maybe 7k max for a low mileage (talking about G-ma owned it, died, family got it and it sat around for 20 years kinda mileage) GT-S. Also some Starions too. Thats not insane price though.

the only thing that sucks is you're gonna have to get it upto par to pass inspection. which can be very costly.

Huh, I figured it would be easy at the 25 year mark. Whats this inspection you speak of?

It'll still be around $20-25k, my car is a 97 and I really dont have any problems with anything, although I do live in florida which makes things 1000x easier.
