Everytime I think of how fast Cobras can be...I just go to youtube and look up "ams evo" and watch the black AMS evo in FL lay the smacketh down on those cobras.

I love cobras they are brutal and just plain quick also they have such an awesome engine. albeit being heavy in the front.

If i decided not to buy an evo, this is what i would get!

I have a couple friends with them and they are just plain BRUTAL!

 

GET ONE!! I had a redfire one back in 2004. Listen up, catback, x-pipe w/ no cats, ported blower, 2.93 pulley, intake, sct programmer, and a 125 shot the car made 633rwhp! The car was sick and all these mods were dirt cheap. I drove it all throughout the winter and everything on Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. Never had a problem. Good luck and do it.

 

Just watch those videos again and remember Chris layed the smacketh down with a fully built EVO w/25K+ dumped in it. The sonic blue cobra was right with him until 125mph and had 4-5k in it at the time including tires.

Now they have a top 10 Cobra list with cars running 8's@155+ on the stock block and head for less than a fully built EVO.

Cobras still are the best bang for the buck out there.......for straigtline speed in a post 2000 model car.
