Not to rain on anyones parade, but there are actually a number of these JDM ones here and have been since the beginning of Feb. They are state legal JDM models, so not 100 percent federally legal.

The interesting thing about this one is it is the first Black Edition (noted by the red and black seats) I have seen in the us.

As for the transmission, for those that do not know it is a twin clutch automated manual much like the evo X MR

Yeah I think they're amazing cars, but I'm just not a fan of the tranny. I don't feel in control of the vehicle without a clutch and shifter. A few others may agree with me. Driving an auto feels a little strange, even if it is a fast car.

Does that mean this one has the 112mph or whatever speed limiter?

Clean looking car. You should try and get some better pictures.

It takes a little getting used to, and at first there is a disconnect. Ultimately though, you are able to focus more and be more in control of the car. To some degree, that video game disconnect is always there for someone that is really used to manuals

Tell that to the people who just clocked the V SPec GTR at 10+ seconds faster around the ring than the ZR-1

my only question is... why did he not just wait on the soon-to-be GTR for sale here in america so that he can have the same car with a"much more convenient" left hand drive...

Looks sweet. Send the ecu to Mynes and I'm sure they can remove the 112mph limit.

Hmm... May be the one that was imported along with this one, believe it was sold to a gentlemen on the east coast. Regardless, it's not the first privately owned vehicle, they have been here as Charles said for some time now
