Bye Lancer Hello Mini Cooper

So My 2003 Lancer was a piece of crap. I wasted so much money on the car it makes me sick but anyways I have upgraded to a 2007 Mini Cooper S which is a hella a lot faster and more fun to drive. I will never forget the Lancer we had some good times and this forum has always been there for us but it's time to move on.

My Mini already has mods and has been dyno'd (Stock 170whp/200tq)
Intake, Boost Tubes, and ECU (205whp/225tq)
It's great when you do mods and see big gains unlike lancers lol

Nice! I think some black slipstreams would look good on it!

Welcome to the world of performance-minded cars rather than performance-inspired.

They are quick cars. That one is turbocharged correct? friend of mines wife has an older cooper S. Supercharged. It is very quick. nimble. They look way to much like chick cars tho. stock anyway. Some mods and they look great. Upgrade for sure.

Yes mine has the turbo pushing around 16psi as of right now. Also my max boost hits at 1700rpm which makes for one fast ride. I'm trying to find some rims but in the mean time I'm ordering the bigger FMIC and cat back exhaust then I will be pushing 235whp and 255tq and then I can start going after some Evo's lol. There is a company called Alta Mini and they are like the Road Race Motor-Sports of the Lancer. Also I'm 6'7'' around 220lb and I have more room in the mini then i did in the lancer.

Only thing I don't like about the car is the gauges and the seats. When I sat in one it felt like I was sitting on the seat like a bench rather than being held in place by it. That sounds like a massive gain for just a FMIC and a catback, I assume that's with tuning?

yea the tuning dials everything in. What year mini did you sit in because from 07 and up have a total different interior then the previous years.

It was at a recent car show so I would assume it was an 08.

O ok well to each there own I actually like the seats a lot and the gauges are great because the speedo is built into the tach you don't have to look at the huge one on the center stack.
