And yes, the car is rediculous. Stupid fast.

What can I say?, I love it!! that is why I have one, it is the looks, the performance, the comfort, the supercar appeal...

I saw that same color when I purchased mine, I was tempted but I pulled the trigger on the clasic red. The competition rims are my favorite rims, unfortunately none of the 10 z06's I went to see at the dealer had them.

Tell your father to remove the botton right fuse for the rear muffler butterflies, it changes the sound and it gives a few hp and tq. Lift the passenger carpet, reach the end and pull back (carpet flips/bends back), look straight at the fuses, pull the most far right and far botton fuse(it is red 10 amp fuse), wait for the change of sound and enjoy!!

Thank you all for positive input! When the weather permits, I'll take some combo shots with his other 450+hp corvette (69 stingray) and 400+ hp 70 z28 camaro.

And yes, Jetstream Blue is the perfect addition to their color options. I think the competition wheels compliment it well, I'm not too fond of the chrome on the z's.

Congrats on owning one Carlos, isn't it such a blast! What baffles me is how usable and tame the car can be. When my buddy bought his 08, pulling that fuse on rides was my job haha. Eventually, he purchased a remote switch for the butterfly valves, and then made that all pointless by upgrading exhaust (Corsa I believe). But thanks for that advice... no z06 owner should go without that key advice!

But.... my father's specific car is one of a few ever produced that comes with a flaw (in a technical sense) so that putting the car in competition driving mode opens up the valves. Man right at 1800 rpm or so, it purrs like a lion. Somebody else with the same flaw asked the GM engineer in charge of the z06 and he said he wasn't aware of that issue and it shouldn't be happening. But hey, nobody here is complaining .
