Fun car for cheap

What is a fun car for cheap? I am looking for something that I can drive everyday and still enjoy. It needs to be around 7500 and get decent gas milage (26-27). As far as enjoyment.. handling, torquey, fast...doesn't matter.. I just need something that I can drive 60 miles every other day that will keep me entertained.

You could get a good shape 97-99 Eclipse gsx, 00-05 Eclipse gs or maybe gt, honda civic if can't find anything else in the world worth a damn. You could get a Mustang GT in that price range. You just need to shop around. That kind of budget can get you something nice if you take your time, shop around at smaller dealerships or maybe a private sale or one that needs some work. I just got my oz rally for 6,900 a few weeks back with 104k from a dealer and I shopped around for a few months to find just what I wanted.

Sr20 DET in an Nissan 240sx. I know from experience, I built one for about 6k and drove it for about a year before my son just had to have it. More fun and performance than just about any car I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few! If you kept your foot out of it still got 30 mpg! If I knew how to post pics I would show it.

it could be better, the same or worst than a 4cyl car.

maintenance, parts and service$...... $$$$$ even if you do your own repairs

tires "if its a sport bike"..... you will only need 2, you can either trust your life on a cheap set of tires or, play it safe and get a good (not great) set of tires, for about 300 to 400 OTD. But they will only last 8/10k at the most IF...you eliminate the fun factor

Lol, I'd rather keep away from the bikes. I'm dumb enough in the evo, I don't trust myself on a bike.

Miata. It's a better car by a long shot than a DSM.

Trust me, I drive both.
