So im down in Ocean city maryland for the weekend and its the anual vw&audi meet (h20) seen nothing but dubs audi of course but on my way back to my beach house spotted a gray evoX in the back of a parking lot by itself made me feel more at peace since my car is in the shop and im pimpin my girls pontiac G8 and im surrounded by nothin but F'n slow dubs lol spotted a wite lambo too

I got a VDub right now and no its not an evo but APR stage 2 and its pretty quick, takes stock SRT-4's easy enough and any none STI around here even the Trubo charged RS running around.

Besides not sure why this is in the 1 thru 9 forums.

dont get me wrong i love dubs and i always work on my buddys corrado vw and mitsu is on my top list

 

Its my first Vdub and Ill tell you for under 25k there isnt a faster car to buy new.

If it wasnt for the damn FWD Id keep the GTI.

lol MS3 with its HUGE aftermarket support? I don't think so.

Cobalt SS are cheap and not that fast.

Besides I bought my wife a brand new full size washer and fit it in the back of my car and beat a prelude on the way home.

 

the 08's are showing some good potential so far

 

Drove Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and then took the Auto Train to Florida. On the return trip drove Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. In those miles (2700) I never saw another Evo on the road or parked.

I did see some nice cars in Florida. People there must spend more time waxing than I do sleeping.

 

I used to own a MK4 jetta some months ago, but its gone now... i liked it a lot, but mk4 jettas/gti's are quite *****y, they break on a daily basis...

 

GTIs are nice.

 

im going down Ocean city md this weekend for import weekend, i almost went down for the vdub meet but i went down last september for it and all the vdub owners were hating.....
