Sold my Evo almost 3 yrs ago...

Well it will be three years this August I traded in my '03 Evo 8 for an '03 350Z. I absolutely LOVE it! I enjoy driving it every chance I can. I've attended High-Performance Driving Events (HPDE), SCCA Autocrosses (Auto-Xs), Drag Racing events & spirited cruises through the mountains of Colorado. Even took a road trip from Colorado Spring to Long Beach and back. So I'm not afraid to put miles on it or used it as it was built. Now you're asking what have you done to it. My four major upgrades; JWT 700BB (GT28RS) Twin Turbo Kit, 19" Work Meister S1 3-piece wheels, StopTech F&R Big Brake Kit, & a complete Pioneer/JL Audio DVD/Nav/Audio system. I just completed everything this past March and was only home for four days worth of driving. However for those four days it was a blast!!! On 6.5psi (6.7 peak) it dynoed at 398/338 uncorrected. I will be taken it to SGP Racing in Houston for a retune and new numbers on their dyno this August. Also looking forward to attending a Test & Tune night to find out what it will run in the 1/4 mile. I'm not the best drag racer but hoping for high 12's. Anyhow, thought I stop by and show off the Z and say "Hi!"

you should be able to get in mid to high 12s , depends on you 60ft , I have seen some guys run their bone stock 07 Z for 13.1-13.3, so with the twins it should be easy once you get a good launch

With the money u spent on modding that Z, u could have spent it on ur old evo and hit 10's in the 1/4 mile and won all of ur track events. Why did u trade in the first place?

Could've, should've, would've. I traded it in cause it was a lemon/POS. Owned it just over a year and only drove it for four months. And I'm honestly happier in the Z. RWD sports coupe is so much more fun to drive.

its nice when it kicks out the tail , so you know what the limits are. Plus driving in snow with some snow tires = mad fun

almost 400 hp to the wheels should put you low to mid 12's.

Yeah it puckers up the butt a little on mountain roads. I never bought snow tires and never drove it in snow on purpose. There was two or three days I got caught.

We'll see. As I said I suck at drag racing. Plus I perfer the road course and built it around daily use. But since the forums are all about 1/4 mile time and dyno numbers that what I'll share. Kinda hard to explain I did a certain road course in X time.

Everyday driveability is great. It is my daily driver and I beat on it pretty good. However for those that live in area's where it snows I suggest a great set of snow tires or a second car. I haven't heard of any high mileage owners having any problems. As far as the turbo kit with the VQ35 the more you beat on it the more you have a chance of problems. Of course this can be said with any car. Normal maintenance like any other car. Personally I wash the car at least once a week, change fluids when the manual says and/or before/after a track event. Once a year I do a complete maintenance. Change/flush all the fluids, clean/check everything, replace what needs to be replace, etc...
