2009 Ford Focus RS (Europe Only)
http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/12/i...or-europe-yes/
What looks like a decent sport compact from Ford is slated for Europeans only at this point, however, Ford would be smart to strongly consider this for the U.S. market too.

Here's an actual mule testing on the Nurburgring:

RS update

300HP/324LB-FT TQ (440Nm) We need to get this here in the US. It would be a great competitor in the Hot Hatch market.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Ford Company are a bunch of idiots. Bring the RS to the states. Heck, look what happened when they brought the original ZX3 here -- sold like hot cakes.
I would 100% rock a RS.
Sincerely,
One ex-Foci enthusiast. Focus was replaced by the need for more speed. But I miss that car a ton. Great car to own and have fun in. Not to mention - it wasn't an arm/leg to fix.

I agree they are not smart. This car can help them get some of their reputation back from tuners. The only real performance car they have now is the GT500/KR and that is considered a Shelby by enthusiast not a Ford.
