Porsche Panamera will start at $127,000

Porsche's new four door sports sedan is not going to be cheap.

And to even get into the Panamera party, you'll need $127,000, which will get you a measly 3.6-liter V6, but that doesn't arrive until 2010.

That turbo motor, run through a seven-speed PDK gearbox, will get up to 186 MPH. However, if you want your power a little more electric, then you'll have to hold off for the 300-hp hybrid model coming in 2011. It will pair the V6 with a 100-hp electric motor. And if all of that isn't enough, Porsche is waiting to see how many folks might request the V10 from the Carrera GT, or Audi's monstrous V12 TDI. Of course, you can expect that kind of power to be a load more Geld.

Uhm... I think Porsche should stick on what the currently offer, that sedan is not my cup of tea. Can you see 4 door Ferraris? it would take aways the essence of Ferrari's unique style. I'd say stay away from 4 doors.

^^^lol, share thoughts by masses. LOL Can you guess the weight? , I guess 4200-4400lbs ,I am not kidding either. That car have to carry at least a 550hp-600hp engine to make it compite with its refined competitors(AMG, M5,Cadillac CTS-V) otherwise Porsche will take a historical maiden unrecover hit.

my .2c

That's looks blah.

How much does it weigh? It's a good idea that they are selling sport sedans. It will only make them more money.

Porsche better reconsider the decision because this car is simply not going to make it.

Wow, that car looks bad. Bad bad, not bad good. All the lines looks wrong. They might as well start with something completely new, instead of trying to make it look like a 911, but with 4 doors. To top it off, they can't be serious about that sticker price.

The 3.6L engine is the Volkswagen Passat's VR6.

For 120k, you could have 3 nicely equipped VR6 4-Motion Passat's
