If needing a rear seat is important then I would go ahead and get the sedan. The sedans are cheaper and more practical.

Since you live in Cali I would just get a RWD model. No reason to spend the extra $$ for AWD if its not something you need.

Search www.carmax.com they have tons and you can check out prices

Just my thoughts

Chris

Looks nice... Its at the top of your price range though....

At carmax it looks like 2005 coupes with low miles and good options are going from $23,998 to $25,998
And Sedans are from $18,998 to $21,998

I would go on ebay look around. From there avg. out the price for the car then make a offer on one see what happens. I think ebay is a great way to look at every detail via pics. And as far as the motor goes dont worry about anything under 80000 miles that motor in that car is one of the best V6 motors ever made. And it shows. My budy had one and he beat that crap out of it and i mean crap he would change the oil after 10-12k miles put crapy gas in it and it never missed a heart beat at all.

After he changed the plugs and all fuilds after 80000+ miles that car drove like it came out the show room. To top it off we told the dealer to seafoam the motor and WOW it came out even better gettting way better mpg's then it did before.

All & all its a great car i wish i would have got one in 04 before i got the 04TL then evo im sure i would still have it.

the coupe's backseat is pretty worthless as is the trunk.

The pre-G37s coupes are one of the best looking cars on the road IMNSHO (we owned an 03 6MT coupe in pearl white and it's still my wife's favorite car ever).

If you get an 03 or 04 coupe with the stick shift, you get brembo brakes. Get the Aero kit too (not just the spoiler), since it make it zero-left (big under body tray that makes the car more stable at higher speeds). Of course, the 03/04 6MTs had a very stiff racing type clutch too.

the g35 gear box is the exact same. It is as far from smooth as you can get. Every tech who has worked on them will tell you that they are a joke.
