I'm shopping for a new car and I'm stuck between the new Mercedes C350 and the new Audi A4 with the led's in the headlights. Which car do people prefer and why? I was all set to get the C350 then I read Edmunds review and now I really don't which is the better buy all around. I was considering the Bmw 335i but the sedan is ugly and there iss no room in the coupe. Any suggestions?

c350 only comes in an auto transmission, go for the a4 with a stick shift

In all honesty what other cars are there to really consider?

The G35 sedan has the power but its ugly, same with the bmw 335i not only is it ugly but once you start adding options your heading into 5 series prices, the 335i couple and G37 are great but I really want something with 4 doors. The new TL is ugly. The EVO X is also great but insurance is insane. If anyone can make any other suggestions I would appreciate it.

the new audi a4 looks great, its a 4dr, little luxurious and awd.
mercedes c350 looks ok, its a 4dr, and unless its 4matic, its rwd. luxurious, but cant see much from c series.
g35 sedan, even though its "ugly", awd, 4dr, great driveability. also as luxurious as mercedes and audi, or superior.
If i were in your shoes, def go with audi or infiniti. Ive had driven both g35x(4dr awd which was my ex's car) and audi a4(current wifey's), they are all great. g35x seems like you will have more room if you are looking for a family-oriented car. mecedes c300 4matic(my friend's car) sux *** even on wet road. Dont get my wrong, mercedes(E,S,CLS,anything other than C) are great cars. but in the end,
MERCEDES C FTMFL.

 

Audi has the 2.0t, quattro, and dsg. Or I'd get the 08 Tl type s.

 

Have you eve driven one of those? i mean tl-s is nice too but the OP clearly stated that tl is ugly. you are one of those honda heads rnt ya?

 

You should consider the Passat CC. They will be available in October I believe. Pictures don't do them justice, they look amazing. The 3.6L VR6/4Motion is a potent combination...

I think he's talking about the 07-08 body style Kim because thats the only one offered in Type S. The new 2009 TL is the one that I think is ugly.

But I think you are right the Audi A4 might be the better choice in the end.

 

Audi more power to the ground and better mpg's thats all i got to say about it.
