The Projector housing has the Reflective Chrome that will shine through the Mag GLass to light the road. Painting the interior housing black won't change much at all.
i'll post pictrues when im done so you all can see what it looks like on the road, just give me some time. With work and all im doing this little by little also while the customer gets the order in of his other lights. So i can take my time and do it right instead of rushing it.

are you guys serious? how crystal clear do i have to be before anyone can understand the MOD?
The light can be ANY COLOR NOT JUST RED. And if your a MORON then yeah you will get pulled over while driving with them on. If you PARK the car you can leave them on UNLESS it is a different color OTHER than RED. Say if you had a Bright WHITE color then you can drive with them on. But if your at a SHOW you can leave them on Basically do with them what you want at will, and w/e the consequences are that's your problem.
The chrome reflective surface of the interior housing outside of the projector lens does nothing for the creativity of a bright light to shine the road. The interior projector housing has all the reflectiveness needed in order to project through the Mag glass and shine the road.
Before anyone jumps to conclusions let me perform the mod on the evo then show you. Till then here's one.
