I still don't like the head and tail lights, but they're growing on me.

It looks amazing to me! I'm loving the sharp roofline.

Does anyone have info on performance specs: 0-60, 1/4 mile? And how much lighter?

I think it is supposed to be only like 30lbs heavier than the old 350z even though they had to add like 200lbs of safety equipment and other crap.

The last(latest) 350Z was a huge improvement performance wise. I am the first one to admit that the very first 350z was a bit under rated for its weight, then they reworked the engine and made them very respectable, now it seems like this 370Z will have its place in the top with its performance.

The headlights with the lateral L shape has to go though...

Well said.

The last generation 350z with the VQ35HR is underrated from the factory and has run much faster times than any previous iteration of the 350z.

I also agree that when the 350z first came out the car was very weak considering that the Z32 300ZX TT version was just as fast despite being about 7 years older.

Despite what some others have posted regarding the looks of the car there's just something about the 370z looks that I like; maybe because of the old Z car (240z & 280z) styling ques that make me nostalgic.

I think the car will look much much better in white or black instead of the bright
colors of the demonstration models in the pics.

according to Road & Track the new Z is around 200 lbs lighter than the old Z...

200 lbs lighter and 30bhp more powerful will make it a much faster Z!!! They said they managed a 5.1sec 0-60 time and that was at 1500ft elevation... at sea level it could break 5 seconds!!!

http://www.roadandtrack.com/assets/d...370z_chart.pdf

370Z: 3175 lbs curb weight...

the following is from wikipedia:

3,339 lb (1,515 kg) (Base)
3,346 lb (1,518 kg) (Enth)
3,400 lb (1,500 kg) (Tour)
3,404 lb (1,544 kg) (Grand)
3,353 lb (1,521 kg) (NISMO)
Roadster:
3,580 lb (1,620 kg) (Enth)
3,600 lb (1,600 kg) (Tour)
3,602 lb (1,634 kg) (Grand)

It just looks too much like a 350Z that it almost annoys me.

I didn't notice that, but I did notice the tri-force.

Not sure why people are complaining about the interior. I see a lot of stitched leather and suede in those pics. Maybe my standards are too low from driving a Lancer?

Overall looks like a nice car. Other than the silly shape of the head and tail lights.
