This car will be targeting the ENZO...with the AMG tuned 5,439 c.c. V8 engine (626ps @ 6,500 rpm and ~660 lb/ft @ 3,250-5,000 rpm), 5-spd AMG Speedshift tranny. 0-60 mph takes only 3.8 sec and the top speed is approximately 200 mph.

dont know how it performs but looks wise,i'd still go with the ferrari.

 

I personally don't like it. I liked a lot of the pics until I saw it in Car and Driver this month and the front nose just looks way too long. I realize that it is holstering a large V12 motor, but it just seems they could have moved the cab a little bit more toward the front of the car so it didn't have such a "long nose" look.

 

It looks really fat and too long. It reminds me of a stork head.

I like the fenders though.

I think the new renault meganes in Europe have the engine starter on the shifter already. THe SLR is a far cry from the Maclaren F1. An exercise in futility if u ask me

Mercedes only plans to build around 500 of these high-tech machines, so price tags are expected to swell as high as $500,000.(From edmuds) I would go wit Enzo for $643,330

 

Reading about these supercars, I always wonder if our EVO's are the most powerful engines per liter? 271HP/2.0L = 135.5 HP per liter. I don't think any other car comes close except Porcshe (don't know specs).
