Reintroducing myself and showing my Legnum

I have been a member on here for a while but didn't really post much. I have recently moved to England from Denver and am reintroducing myself and showing off the "new to me" car.

I have a '97 Mitsubishi Legnum VR4, it basically is a '99 to '03 USDM Galant station wagon that is AWD with a 2.5L V6 twin turbo (albeit very small turbos) that shares a lot of parts with the evo.

Current list of mods include:
V-SPL Front mount
Cusco hard pipes
Pro-shop Iida throttle body elbow pipe
Greddy Profec B Spec II
SVC turbo timer
Pro-shop Iida front pipe
Mines LCD boost gauge
TSL 100 High flow cat
Buddy Club 'Racing Spec' voltage stabiliser/condenser
Ultra earthing kit
Alloy catch can
PLX SM-AFR wideband O2 sensor
HKS Super Power flow filter
Fluidyne Extra Heavy Duty Transmission cooler
Sard sports radiator
Sard FPR w/ gauge
TRE Uprated Fuel pump
Recirc Valve from an EVO VIII
Carbotech XP8 brake pads
Rossini sloted front rotors
Rossini signature rear rotors
refurbed calipers
exact engineering flexible brake lines
Bilstein B8s (shortened for lowering springs)
Tein S-techs
Cusco anti-roll bars
Greddy triple tube rear strut tower bar
MMCS (Japanese navigation/climate control)

That should be it, I think...

List of mods to do that need to be bought:
Map ECU2 piggyback ECU with tuning (will allow removal of MAF and no more fuel cut)
Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust
Snowperformance Stage 3 water/methanol injection
possible larger injectors
seat brackets for the Recaros
possible coilovers depending on how the current setup feels with the power increase
brake upgrade of some form
Enkei RPF1 for more traction
BOV maybe the Tial but not decided yet

List of things to install that came with the car:
Recaro Style in aristo black http://www.recaro-seats.co.uk/ergonomics/style-xl.php
Alloy turbo inlets pipes with Blitz filters for dual free flowing intakes after MAF removal
Sard intercooler sprayer

As you can see the car is not stock and power wise is comparable performance wise to an Evo even tho it weighs significantly more. Here are a few pics.

Some of the similar parts are that the evos factory brembos can be swapped over with minimal work (front knuckle swap to newer version knuckles) It has AYC identical to the evos but the added weight and torque can eat those. Overall its a slightly overweight evo station wagon with 2 more cylinders and another turbo. Let me know what you think.

Im not sure about the Diamante wagon replacing it, Maybe the FWD versions but no real replacement for the VR4.

Nothing against the evo wagon but id rather have an evo than that. The legnum is great due to the stealth factor, nobody knows what it is and the tourque makes it pull like a train, but an evo wagon would still scream evo.

I just did some reading about it, Legnum apparently means 'throne' in Latin. I think the only competitor was Subaru Legacy B4, both cars rated 280ps for manual, 260ps for auto, but Legnum had higher torque rating due to bigger displacement 2.5 V6 TT (6A13) while the Legacy used WRX's 2.0 F4 T EJ20. Probably the only other performance oriented AWD Wagon in the world is the Audi S4/RS4 wagon.

I agree, the evo wagon looks just like evo with different back, so it doesn't have much stealth factor. I'd still want one for what it is and how rare it is though.

The cars are not common over here let alone finding one in manual that hasnt had the crap beat out of it is near impossible.

Wheels are coming, im just trying to decide the ones I like the most. Toss up between Enkei RPF1, NT03 or Gram light Optimise.
