Buying a Skyline R33

So, Monday afternoon I shall be going to look at a 1995 Nissan Skylike GTS-T.
All original, from Japan, 45K miles. Nice condition for being original. Its got a PA title, meanign it HAS to be federally legal. State Legal doesnt cut it in PA. We are one of the worst states for legalizing a skyline... Top 3 or something like that i heard somewhere. In order for it to be driveable here and have a PA title, it has to be a federally legal car. This one has a CLEAN PA title.

Anyways, how much do you think its worth? Not going to put the price untill/if I buy it.. But how much money would you guys dish out for this? Or, would there be anyone interested in purchasing it?

Progressive is insuring it And he says insurance is pretty cheap for it being an older car, but he had to set the value.

Anyways, here are some pics.
Let me know ASAP what you think.

Car has a good vin, and its the same on the title and all. Its like ER33 or ECR33 or soemthing.. Its a legit skyline vin number, and matches with everything on this car.

What would you pay for it/who would be itnerested in purchasing it?

Thanks

Near what they are asking for
I'll see monday if its nice, then I will take it, and probably sell after a few weeks and once the GT-R kit is on it. The front end is Ugly as it sits right now :/

I got to drive my father friend's ER33 the other day. Also Legit, and hes selling it on Ebay right now... 4 door GTS25T. I must say, it pulls HARD.. Like an evo running 22PSI if not better... Actually I think better, and its near stock running 12PSI I think he said.. Its really stupidfast too. RB25DET engine..

Some people say these cars arent as great as some think, while other think they are god.
Surely, its nothing SUPER DUPER GO MAD OVER, but it can be underestimated soemtimes.

About 27k, but why go through all the hassle for a 1995 R33 when you have a nice Evo. Sounds like a headache when buying an older car for so much. when your almost guranteed to put more into it when you mod it. Not trying to talk you out of it but just wanted to give my opinion. Good luck with the sale

$29,000. i love the skyline, but i would not spend that much on such an old car that would cost a even greater amount in parts, that are so hard to get in the u.s.

27? Hmm, seems low :P But it isnt a GT-R, so I cant blame you.

Well, im mainly looking to buy this car to try and make some money of it. On Nico forums, a Fed legal R33, basic GTST like this, is worth near 45K they said...

So I was thinking of buying it, doing it up nicely, and selling on their to make more money. I really want to take my Evo to Buschurs shop so he could put me into the 9 Second club..
The onyl way I could get 10K plus.. which wouldnt be close to what a 9 second build costs, but would still put me ahead.... is by trying with this. Afterall, its a skyline, and its US legal. I near crapped my pants when I was driving by and saw it with a for sale sign.. O_o
Clean PA title.. showed me..:P

Or, if someone offered me 35k for it as it sits, i'd sell it

I'm sorry but did someone say 30-35000 usd?

If so, you guys have it bad in the US lol. I can get one of them here from Japan for under 6000 USD.
If you're talking about the GTS that is.

Basic model?

Got any specs/picss?

NY title.. easy to get away with.. Its not a FED LEGIT car more likely, but state legal..

WHats the VIN? Does it have the U.S. Reassigment plate/vin on it? If not, its not fed legal..
Its black and says U.S. substitute vin, and has FED/NHTSA/DOT/EPS stickets all over under the hood, firewall, and passeneger side door.

I know the feeling, Im getting my motor fully built by Buschur now. I wanted it badly even though i had to wait 7 months to get the money. Sounds like a good move to buy and sell but be careful because remember we are in a RECESSION and there arent many people buying cars right now. But you can find them if you look hard enough. But just dont get stuck with the car because you would have to wait even longer to get into the 9 second club.

Hah, well I know of some rich boys from all over the city that bought many High end cars like M3's, S class benz's and stuff, and a few evos/stis from my dad, who said theyd kill to own a skyline.. But they couldnt find a PA legal one.. anywhere..

so, more or likely, I could get it sold probably.. Maybe would have to wait a while.. but in the meantime I'd drive ti around and slightly mod it..

I guarantee those little RicerBoys in their civics and what not would **** themselves seeing this.. especially the ones who saw the F&F movies and went coo-coo for co-co puffs about it.
