I would have voted NSX if it was in there...

 

To me the Gran National looked like the GNX model. If you look you will see the fender vents and the wheels are different. Supposedly this was a joint venture with McLaren/ASC. Came with Garret turbo w/ceramic coated impeller and up pipe. The HP on these was underrated at 276 with 360TQ, only 547 built. Some fairly advanced technology for an 1987 vehicle.

 

It was the one that looked like a Hummer H1 but with style. I think it was black



I just saw the movie, and it was so bad that I no longer like any model of car that was in it (except Chargers, but that one was teh lame anyways)

 

yes it was def a GNX, and i think in that car, a simple reflash brought the power to over 300hp, and over 400tq.

there is one on eBay now, original, with no miles, selling for $80k

i love the skyline dont get me wrong but im gettin tired of seeing them in the F&F movies i went with the GN cuz american cars that r turbo r awsome! but i think the prisoner school bus at the end def took the prize lol

 

Def the grand national. Those cars a bad. U know why they quit makin em right? Because they were faster than the corvettes. Now only if they put a turbo on the z06...hmmm

^ no freakin way that Sti was a 10sec car! the only mod it had was a hideous paint scheme, and a Perrin IC that adds like 1.5hp
