Beautiful car man, love the looks of it. Bet you can't wait to take it for its firt $200 oil change. Ha, but really good to hear you were able to get it for under MSRP, now's a great time to buy a new car.

Car is actually somewhat big in person, I've looked at it a few times. Condrats on the pick-up, you need to post up some vid when you get the software and exhaust done.

Are you sure it is only $200? Did you forget a zero? I have heard they were much more than that. BTW - your friendly neighborhood Evo dealer would like to charge you more than $100 (or mine would like to try at least) so $200 wouldn't be that bad of a deal for this amazing ride and the level of service they had best provide.

BTW - someone dropping bones for a ride of this caliber isn't worrying about the first oil change, unless you mean the change in price per barrel on the market.

yeah theres no way its a 200 dollar oil change. gotta be over 1,000 EASILY i'd imagine 2,500 for a full service including tire balance, alignment checks, and whatever else you can imgaine.

my next door neighbor did a "5k mile service" on his Quattroporte sedan at a local Ferrari dealer. $1100 for oil, change brake fluid, tire rotate, and a stupid "25 point" inspection. oh, but he said 'they wore white gloves'!!

given that, i bet you an oil change on a Ferrari 599 is twice that.

i would imagine a car like this is as optimized at the factory as it can possibly be... so prolly there isnt much to do. other than the mentioned exhaust (and even that is for sound mostly, i mean what r u looking to gain, 6hp?!?!?).

....of course some throw 23's on (on a Ferrari, i may add), and call that "mods"

LOL!! Don't we wish! I can pretty much say with confidence that no one at AMS (or any performance shop in this field) for that matter will EVER own a 599 GTB or anything close!

ya really think so

we have great ambitions ..

of course... having clients with these cars makes it easier... all the fun of driving them (and coaching them at the race track) and no payments

we have a client with a 430 scuderia, 360 Challenge Stradale, 512TR, etc etc..... we are pressuring him to get an MC12 or Enzo hee hee..

------------------

OP:

I LOVE the 599... congratulations..... what a beautiful car... and quick as hell for its size!!

cheers

+1!
from the first magazine review, i could never understand how a car that size, and a front weight bias, is so quick at tracks, and so fast 0-60 & 1/4mile

Actually, i just partnered with Tym Switzer and Switzer Performance Innovation. We are going to be developing different platforms. We already do Porsche, Mercedes, Nissan GTR, and hopefully soon...Ferrari.
