yes i heard, and read. i even said in another post, that when i saw the CTS-V at the car show, i was impressed
my point was that "quoting 0-60" isnt fun anymore. that # alone should Not be the topic of discussion when talking about a performance car, because it has become meaningless in the last few years

for those who care about more than just tire shredding, the interior is surprisingly upscale. as i mentioned in another post, its on par with Germans....
suede, and stitched leather galore! seats are very supportive and hug well, steering wheel is thick, nice material, and easy to turn and hold, gauges and dials are elec luminescent, and the dashboard and console is ergonomically proper, nice materials and colors, good layout...

Wasn't that record held by the RS4? Did it really get beat out?
NVM, I just checked... 7:59! To the RS4's 8:09, which got beat by the E92 anyway.
Go GM!
Now if only they wouldn't have gotten rid of the Cobalt SS... They need a good low end niche car like that too.

All the numbers are impressive...0-60 is just of them. Under 4 seconds for a luxury car is hauling ****. A 119 mph trap speed is also serious business.
i spoke to a rep, he said they wont stop making it. they just reassigned the design team, so nothing new will come from V... but whatever is already in production (the 3 'V' cars) will continue for a few years to come, till the end of its life cycle.
Because last I heard/cared about any of that the RS4 was the record holder for fastest 4 door on the 'ring? You don't have to be a dick about it. I'm not a super-fan of either, I don't know their weight or hp numbers. Hell, all I really know is that the RS4 is awd, and the V is not.
This is something that I have been emphasizing for a while folks. The manual transmission cars that involves your clutch pedal action are becoming more and more in disavantage to either automatics or dual clutch type transmissions.
You can look left and right and you will find it just about everywhere. The new Auto transmissions are compact, light and both eficicient not just on gas mileage but also in performance. These transmissions allow you to keep the boost steady while shifting(turbo aplications) and off course there is no marging for error.
Yeap!! GM sinking but here is the fastest sedan for the show(0-60, 1/4 mile, Nurburgring). This car kicks serious a$$ for real...
