A small project we started....

Hello everyone, just recently my dad and I have decided to turn my friends 1997 Talon FWD into a little project. As the car came into our garage we noticed it had many problems and errors that needed to be fixed. Here are some problems that were fixed and still have to be fixed.

Fixed

- New pcv valve
- New valve cover gasket with o-rings
- New downpipe gasket with bolts
- New spark plugs
- New serpentine belt
- New alternator
- New oil and oil filter
- Took the sound system all out
- Took external voltage regulator out of car
- Wiring to and from alternator was all hacked due to a certain shop
- Now battery doesn't drain and car remains at approximately 14.5 volts
- New bolt for front bumper
- Both door locks and handles changed to black

Things Still Need To Be Fixed

- All of the stickers need to come off
- New transmission fluid and LSD fluid
- New turbo
- New downpipe
- New battery
- Need to remove hacked wires and re-wire some components
- Needs new manual boost controller
- Needs new intercooler piping with couplers
- Needs Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator to be mounted correctly
- Needs coil pack to be mounted correctly
- Needs a new motor mount
- Need to get MSD ignition out of there since it isn't even hooked up
- Needs to get tuned (Has Haltech Ecu installed)
- Need to pull motor and adjust/hide a lot of the wiring
- Needs new hoses in some areas and some wire wrap
- Needs new rear brakes and new tires
- Need to remove shift light
- Need to fix gauges including the AEM wideband since they don't even work
- Needs a really really good detail

That's all I can think of now. Here are some pics.

It is fun but sometimes gets frustrating. When the evo comes back in a couple of weeks, then that will be another project that we need to work on.

Anyone know of a tuning shop in the midwest area that would tune a 420A with Haltech?

Very nice project.
Do you know what size injectors are in there?
If the Haltech Ecu is not installed, there must be a fuel presser regulator, what ratio is it set to?
What are the cams set to?
What PSI is the car running now?

Good Luck!
