Why would someone make a fake diffuser? I would rather just have a normal rear bumper than a fake diffuser. But I guess some companies may do it just for looks. I doubt Chevy would put a fake one on the Camaro though.

Makes sense, since they are getting rid of the Cobalts, so the SS Cobalt will be gone And with Pontiac getting the boot, who knows what is going to happen in the future here...

 

you can already buy these cars at invoice or slightly above. that puts the 2ss/rs cars in the low 30's. quite a deal. i'm on the edge of taking an alotment from my local dealer. just can't quite make the jump yet.

 

I'm talking about parts that serve no purpose but to "look" fast. See all the scoops and vents on pre 05 mustangs.

i think that motor is doa in the camaro. once the v6 cars beat what chevy thought the epa fuel economy #'s would be and gas got cheap again, that idea was supposedly flushed to limit development costs at gm.

 

close to 500whp is likely with bolt-ons since lg motorsports is getting over 500 at the wheels out of a new vette with headers, cams, exhaust, intake, reflash, etc.

 

I really like the new Camaro two , but the V6 isnt faster than the GT Mustang .

 

Sorry, I just dont like these cars, I think it's another american attempt at some cool "styling" and imo they failed miserably.

It's a fad and the excitment about a new car. It's cool to be the first one on the block to have one but once you see a dozen or so on the streets you'll lose interest. By the way what's the weight on those? Like 4500lb?
