I answered your questions about the cars. You aren't going to be able to make any viable decisions without test driving those cars to see which one you like. But since you don't have a license good luck with that.

 

find a nice XR8 or better yet a XR6turbo

 

Put a few k into doing a Holden Monaro conversion. They look so much better. My old boss did it + new wheels/rubber and I can't believe how nice it is.

 

Sorry to hear about the life insurance aspect. I think the most intelligent thing you mentioned was getting a house, especially in this market. If you really need another high power vehicle I would also go with a C5 Z06 or if you want to be more unique something like a mid-90's viper or a Supra. Mustangs suck for all the reasons people have mentioned.

 

Not that it matters, but on Corvetteforum.com there is a blown black C5 Z06 for 21K with 44k miles.

Puts down 580whp on pump gas. My 08' Z06 is fast I can't imagine how fast it would feel with a extra 100whp.............but I will find out when my cam/headers get put in next month.

.02 I'm almost twice your age and have owned more imports then domestics. To this day I'll always love a turboed vehicle with that being said I really love my Z06 and couldn't be happier.

Look into a C5 ZO6 you can prolly find them modded around for a good price... i had one before i bought the C6 ZO6 and there sick...also 03 cobra is nice to.

 

Get an older vette Preferably 82 or earlier. Stingray bodystyle ftw
